I am sure the day will just go downhill from here but we were awake by 4:00 and up trying to get some things done before the movers get here. Want to make sure we have everything we plan to take with us before they start hiding things in boxes.
Discovered last night that the lady packer emptied a drawer in the kitchen that we had filled with stuff for the new owners. OM Goodness - she left the owner's manuals and the garage door openers - thank goodness. But she packed the two smoke detectors that we had bought to leave in the house - required per the realtor's information. What a ditz - did she really think we bought smoke detectors down here so we could move them to Alaska.
My stomach is really out of whack this morning. Great big huge butterflies running around in there. And to top it all off, it is snowing - it's expected we'll get 7-10 inches today. Right now, I'm just hoping that a truck can get in here tomorrow with the cargo container that they intend to put all of our stuff in to ship it up north.
The stress level is extremely high - JUST BREATHE!!!!!
